BACKGROUND
The principal of Bleifuss Law, Ltd,, Leslie G. Bleifuss, has extensive experience in representing clients in complex disputes. Shortly after graduating third in his class from law school in 1994, Mr. Bleifuss was involved in representing three (3) clients in a case before a judge now sitting on the United States Supreme Court. Based on one of his courtroom performances, Mr. Bleifuss was recruited by a former Assistant U.S. Attorney with the Department of Justice to join a large Chicago-based law firm. While associated with this large Chicago-based law firm, Mr. Bleifuss was involved with litigation in seventeen different states.
Born and raised in Maple Park, Mr. Bleifuss has deep roots in western Kane County and DeKalb Counties extending back nearly a century. Feeling the strong pull of those roots in 2002, Mr. Bleifuss opened his law office in Elburn. Since 2002, Mr. Bleifuss has balanced his practice of representing clients in sophisticated business and estate disputes by also maintaining a traditional small-town, general law practice involving family law, personal injury, estate planning, and real estate.
